Question Lifted 09 dodge

Hello 09 dodge fans,

I have recently purchased a new 09 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX4 and absolutely love it!! However I am looking into lift kits and want to go big.. 6" by BDS is what I am considering I have looked into superlift and skyjacker but it is confusing on which kit to get. I am told that some lifts cause problems with the ESP even though they say the lift does not.... I don't want to spend 3500 dollars and get F***n' problems with my new truck!! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Ted

$3500 F____king dollars ,, wait a year that lift will be 1700. Which is still a rip for what you get but why pay double now.

I would wait as well. The truck is still too new. There were some major changes and the after market sector doesn't have any PROVEN products yet. Wait till the summer of this year and there will be better choices out.

As for the ESP just get a tuner to make the adjustments to the programming to keep that system in line.

I've been reading about the new Pro Comp system for the 2009's. My friend has their stage 2 set up on his 06 and loves it. I've also seen that there are some leveling kits out for the new trucks too. Four wheeler had a thing on their site about the new 6in systems here

I guess the new trucks have tons of room. They say a 6inch set up clears 37's and doesn't interfere with the ESP.

Default Warrenty

If you get a lift it will kill your warrenty on your lifetime power train. The only way to do this is to have the dealer install the lift you can still buy after market lifts but they need to install it. Then your warrenty will still be good.
