Default to order or not

I really love the new 09 rams and want to order one. I also drove the new f-150 and tundra and this blew them out of the water in my opinion. But a few things are holding me back. The factories are shut down til AT LEAST January 20th and the whole bailout thing. I am just mainly worried about warranty, parts and future accessories for the truck in the future. What is everyone's opinion on this??

Go ahead. They will not close the door on the Jeep and Dodge brands. They will close the Chrysler division down 1st if they have too. There is just too much at stake not having Dodge, and Jeep around.

In the unlikely event that they do close the doors, and warranty has to be be honored and it will be transferred to a 3rd party.

I drove them all too, and it came down to the Tundra and the Dodge for me. Dodge won due to the longer bed and a classier look on the inside.

I wonder if a larger rebate will come out once they start producing again? The current rebate in only $2,000 + $2,000 if you already own one of their vehicles.

I recently bought a Saturn Sky Redline and I asked them about the warranty if they were to close down, and they said they will send something in the mail to tell me where to take my car for service. So, like the earlier poster said, it could be transferred to a 3rd party.

Are you looking to build a Ram, or buy one off the lot? I'm not sure what kind of deals they have going on now, but I'd say to take advantage of it and get some of the nice options that you want. I personally like the extra storages in the bed.

Your worried Dodge is rolling over with all four wheels in the air and looking for a belly rub, Than go buy a Tundra, Toyota is better off on the balance sheet than Nissan, Ford or Gm.

If you like the new Ram and you can get the deal you want, buy it, if the big three were to die off, It's going to the best event to ever happen to the Auto industry.

AS it stands now, it's a proven fact the big three's philospy of sell sell sell Market Market and cut cut quality and inflate the prices have led consumers away from the big three, its always going to be a debate who' builds a better product, thier is the presumption by consumers, Ford, Chrysler and Gm are crap.

Throwing money into the soup no one is wanting will lead to the soup being tossed.

Warranty's are a high cost built into the product, Every time you don't have a issue, Dodge is making big bucks, if dodge is not around, a outside source will step in to insure the big ticket food chain goes round and round.

If Dodge cut the cost of the truck by half, and gave you half the warranty would you still buy it?

If no, than wait, if yes buy one on monday.
