Default 09 Video In Motion??

I instaled an REN radio in my 09 crew cab and the video works in motion? No lockpick or any other device it just works. I have full control over the DVD also. How is this possible? Could it be the wrong bus speed? but if that was the case the radio shouldn't work and my steering wheel controls should not work but they do?

Has this happened to anybody else?

I think that is awesome that it works. The RER's don't, at least my doesn't and the lockpicks are not perfected yet.

That function can actually be programmed to work like that from the factory. The dealer is supposed to verify to make sure it is turned off if your state law prohibits the video to be viewed by the driver while the vehicle is in motion. You must have slipped thru the cracks.

Smoothbassman,

I bought the radio from Ebay, I don't know what state the radio originated in.
So if the radio came from a state that allows video in motion that could explain it?

Hmm.... sounds like I'm going to have to give that a try... I had just assumed it wouldn't work.

Damn... no video in motion. Looks like I'll be getting a lockpick so the wife can watch movies on longer drives.
