I got off of work tonight and cranked up and it made a weird sound like when cranking up a prop plane and it doesnt kick on but it started before it sputtered out.

So I start backing up and then my check engine light comes on.......ok im at 3,250 and I was told the oil light would come on around 4,000-5000 miles, so I continued on all my gauges were fine but it seemed different, I get home flip the power on and off to see if I get in messages on the display, nope but my engine light is still on..............

So I check my tire pressure because I know on the fords their engine light turns on when their tire pressure is low and i check my oil level everything seems fine, I tried restarting and it did the same thing but it started up and its still not registering any messages so does this mean its not something simple or what?

I thought the whole purpose of this computer was eliminating the need for code readers and all these hat tricks to get your dours to lock without honking?

 

disregard it serious aparently my book says if your light turns on during use its drive controller related.

650 dollars for a steering knuckle for jumping from the soft sand up on to the packed sand at the beach which is a 2 foot bump btw to the guys who said I should have bought a fixer upper toyota to rough house in.( which by the way my freind also has done several times in a suzuki samauria and in a subaru wrx a car without bending a steering knuckle but hey this is a truck lol but hey Im slowly getting over it.)

150 for checking out brackets that a tarp wrapped around on my rear suspension driving down the highway.
