I ordered mine on the Feb 10th with backup camera and it was not listed as a restricted option.

I have not checked on the status of my build because I'm not in a hurry for it. My current RAM is not up until June 6th.

Actually, that is the main reason I ordered my truck is because none anywhere had the backup camera.

When we placed the order, the only option that was restricted was the rambox, but that has also been lifted.

You will be able to add the camera later so not to big of a deal other than it's $170 from the factory and $400 installed at the dealer.

Maybe Monday you could have them write into the deal they will install the backup camera for the money it would of cost you to factory order it.

For those that ordered in Jan you have to take into account they were on a 4 week "vacation" starting around christmas time. Chrysler stopped building their product.

I for one have noticed a sharp drop in dealer inventory around Toledo.

I ordered my truck on Feb 12th, I spoke to the dealer today and the estimated ship date from the factory is March 9th. As a note mine was ordered with the backup camera...

Mine reached D1 as well last week and I got a VIN number. I ordered 2/20. Would be curious to hear feedback on your question.

Where are these trucks built? I just spoke to my dealer again today and they said the estimated ship date for my truck is the 9th of this month but it would still be 2 weeks or so before it would be here. The reasoning is that they are built in Mexico and the travel time is only a few days but unloading the ship can take up to a week plus a day to get the truck from the port to the dealer. I thought these were built in the midwest?

?????

Crew Cabs built only in Warren Michigan, Mexico builds Heavy Duty's, St. Louis also in the mix. All shipped by train/truck.

HA! Obviously my sales guy has no clue. Thanks for the info. So I would assume the dealer should have it a few days (2-3) after the ship date?
