Talking Welcome Back (to myself)

I just wanted to say hello to everyone in the Dodge Ram family. I am back. After owning a Corvette for a year as my daily driver and using the H3 for towing duty, I just couldn't take it anymore and I'm back in a Ram as of late Monday evening.

I don't know about ***** to the walls power (I just spent the last year driving an '08 vette), but based on my seat of the pants meter, this truck is about as fast as my '07 QC was after mods (Edge programmer, dual exhaust, K&N intake). I'd say you can feel the extra 55hp. This truck is much quieter though than my last one was after mods (both inside and out).

I have already driven the op ram, silverado6.0 and 5.3, and the F-150 5.4. By the ole' *** dyno I say that the 09 ram is putting the competition to shame. I know when I test drove the ram I took out on a highway, and Damn, I had to watch it. I was over 90 before I even realized I was there.

I will agree that the Ram is quiet at highway speeds and higher and that it has no problem getting there, but it's not a beast off the line. It's relatively quick, yes. A colleague has a Tundra with the TRD supercharger - now that's a beast which can outrun a SRT-10.
