FYI, the oil filter on the new trucks is not the same as the old ones. The nipple is bigger so the ID of the old filters is too small. You'd think that the dealership would know to give me the correct filters, but no, they gave me the old ones.

 

lol, they change them up every two years, I ordered my K&Ns in bulk from jegs so I havent run into any problems of people not paying attention.

 

They changed to a metric thread on the new filter. The old filter was SAE. The change occured with the 07 or 08 model. Look at the DIY thread at the top of the main page, I listed several of the filters that will fit.
