has anyone ever mounted the oval step bars on their trucks?
whether its westin , bully or another brand

i NEED to get some, my wife can barely get into my truck its so high up
the round ones i had on my 99 were rock solid
but i wanted something with a updated look to them
and the oval ones look pretty cool
i just want to make sure they are solid like the round ones are
anyone know if they are??

or if there is another style out there, im open to suggestions

Westin doesn't make the correct mounts for their bars on an 09' yet. tried that. Got Aries bars put on yesterday, solid as a rock, completely welded up including the ends, but the step feels like its too close to the body and like I'm slippin off when I go to get out of the truck. Can they be adjusted out just a bit??

i was looking at these ones by aries
pretty nice imo

 

well i got the Aries bars delivered today
the look great and feel solid
but the directions were not the best, to say the least
and i think the paper they were printed on was from the 1950's
it practically fell apart in my hands
also the directions were not correct for my truck
took me a while to figure things out on my own
and one of the mounting bars was not pre drilled and i had to drill it myself

but i got them on and they came out good
what do you guys think??
