The 440 is $15.5k without Ported And Polished Heads & Ported And Polished Intake. That is another $4k, so you're looking at $20k to get the full 628 HorsePower and 596 Ft. lbs. of Torque.

Actually, I want the 426/600 for 17+ less trade in for my motor, plenty enough torque for a heavy truck. But like I said, I'm playing it by ear, if I can get 500 hp out of this 5.7 in between now and then, I may change my mind. It broke me to get this truck and it'll probably brake me when and if I get that motor.

What are you going to do with the transmission? If I recall, this trans is not capable of handling more than 450-500hp.

Actually, I've never ever checked, only knew they did because my bank gave me a print out to send in with the dispute form. Anyways, guess what, AFE called me today and told me my exhaust was shipped out, and they emailed me a tracking order . That was fast, (it wasn't suppose to ship until next Thursday) I am so so grateful to those guys. And they said it was only around a 4 day delivery, of course it could be longer. But it looks like I'll have it next some time week for sure, I can't wait

I've been surfing for trannys and tranny kit info, because I'm an old 727, hemi bands, manual valve body, shift kit guru from Ed Hamburgers Direct Connection days. Don't know anything about what these electronic guys are capable of, or how to beef them up. But there's a lot more than that to do, especially the rear end, maybe Detroit lockers, and Henry axles if I can keep this 9 n 1/4, or as little as possible. Those guys told me they will work with me, and help up date me on today's chassis needs. I don't know what cam specs I'll have, so I don't know what stall I'll use. I don't want any cam that has to have a 3000, rather have a cam needing a 2500 or so, but will if I have to. OH, and by the way just make it clear, if I can keep this tranny, I'm gonna try and by pass this electronic shifting crap, if possible, hopefully to manually. Anyways, there's plenty of time to dream up some builds

I remember reading an article on someone beefing up the transmission. They can do 1,2,3. 4 and 5 remain stock and if you had a lot of power and hit the gas in one of these gears you would fry the clutches.

I will see if I can find the article.

Default Update on fasthemis site

I've been calling their number (866-862-6690) all week and kept getting the same thing, but didn't call on 6/09 (yesterday). I called fasthemis early this morning and got their recording, so it seems that their phone is back on. However, I tried to email them and it wouldn't go through saying: The was a problem! Please check all email add. Looks like one of may not be formatted correctly. I'll try and call again early Monday, and let you know what happens. tks, Radio

Default AFE Exhaust Install

My exhaust came in from AFE today and it was a simple 2 hr or less install. They look great, well made, perfect fit, and sound good. The tips are an awesome 12" long, way longer than the stock duals and look cool from the sides. I'm so grateful and so happy, I'll try to get some pics out out asap
