How to get loyalty discount
Hi all,
The dealers have been telling me that you have to be on a list with chrysler to get the loyalty discount, and apparently I'm not on it. Who should I call to see about getting put on it? I have a pretty good leg to stand on when it comes to justifying why I should be on it. I have bought the following new vehicles myself:
2004 neon srt-4 (totalled by a falling tree in hurricane Ivan)
2004 2500 diesel
2004 3500 dually diesel
2005 magnum rt
2006 2500 diesel
2006 3500 SRW diesel
Surely THAT has got to be enough for them to come off it!

I don't think you can have them put you on the list. I think people (current Chrysler vehicle owners) are randomly selected for the incentive. I wasn't on it either and my past 4 vehicles have been Chrysler products, so I doubt that matters unfortunately.
Well, I think I'll call them and complain anyway. If they're gonna have a customer loyalty discount it ought to have some connection to customer loyalty. If not, then call it "a random drawing of people who have bought from us in recent history" discount. It may seem like I'm making something out of nothing, but when you've bought as many vehicles from them as I have and you don't get offered the discount while people who only bought one do, it's a slap in the face.
Well, I got hold of a number to call, and they told me that the loyalty discount ended as of yesterday. That agrees with what my dealer told me, which is that he was waiting to hear what the new incentives were going to be today. It still pisses me off that they selected loyalty discount customers apparently at random.
I wasn't on the list either, see my list

i got the loyalty discount when i traded my 99 ram for my 09. the sales manager told me that they only used to do it for leases but they dont do leases anymore so they give it to you for trades now.( i got my truck on jan 14th) they may have stopped it now though.
v8440, not that's a list. I did forget the 87 ramcharger but no where close to what you've had. I'm thinking maybe chrysler needs to go back to the dictionary and check out the meaning of loyalty again. Can't tell you how many times I was made fun of because Dodge was always considered to the little ole lady car, or the old mans truck. Unless of course you were lucky enough to get one of the muscle cars. I actually was on the verge of changing brands when Iacoca took over. It was because of him that I stuck with dodge. Well, him and my dad. My dad would only drive chrysler or dodge vehicles. Jeff.
