those look really good!

the points the article make are all very very good. I think that would be the best option if swapping out mufflers.

I would prolly get them had i not just changed my intake to an XDI trueflow. doing that made the exhaust sound so much better i don't think i will swap the muffler out now (not until i hear someone else's first anyway)

I say get them and tell us what you think!

You should get one and let us know what you think. I had a magnaflow on my last truck and loved it.

I wonder where the other 2 fall on the 1-10 scale. They only list stock and the aggressive one. I'd want to be at like a 5 or 6, not 8.

The aggressive is rated 9, moderate is 7, and mellow is 4. They had it on ebay and the ratings were listed.
I think I'm going with the aggressive 9.

Stock to very AGGRESSIVE/WFO (or anything in between) in mere seconds. Full 3" butterfly to fully unleash Hemified power/sound. Grin value = 10!

There was a guy on another forum that posted sound clips of the Moderate Mufflex system and it sounded terrific. I couldn't tell any difference between it and the aggressive sound clip they have posted. I'm probably going that route someday soon.

Bountyhunter, do you have any sound clips of that bad boy opened up?

Flowmaster 40 on my '08, got weary of constant cabin resonance on longer trips. EEC has less resonance, sounds way better and performs great. Nice to have the option of setting the sound level to suit ya. I can tell ya I'm more than satisfied...just plain fun!

Cool

I would like to hear a sound clip too of that cut out. Maybe a clip of startup with it open and then close it to see how fast it closes. A clip of the noise inside the cab while driving would be cool to if you could. I would like to change the muffler out for somthing louder but I would really miss how quiet the truck is stock. How cool is that to be able to switch from stock to open exhaust. It would keep the neighbors happy, not draw attention to the cops when its closed, and drop the jaws of the unsuppecting stop light competion. "Captins call" for the Ram... Love it!

Yeah.... the wife hates loud exhausts. On my vette I had a mild to wild switch to open up the butterfly valves on the mufflers and make them louder. So, I'd love a cutout like that. How much did you spend on that? And where'd you buy it?
