Default Is it me?

...or it it these TIRES?

I am not digging the stock Wrangler 20s.

After only 1200 miles, they are really starting to bother me.

Am I the only one?

Just do a quick search or browse through the forums. LOTS of people hate the Wrangler HPs.

I hear so much complaining about these tires and I don't understand it. Mine have 8500 miles so far and they've performed well in all conditions, I really like them. I hear them going around curves but it isn't bad.

just to clarify, i have no ill feelings towards the tires. then again, i have only used them for normal driving and snow and they were fine.

the whining does not bother me, it was just an observation.

I had heard many bad things about the Wrangler HP's before I bought my Ram. I was planning on having them swapped at a tire shop for some BFG's if I was unhappy with them. Much to my surprise when I got the truck, I failed to see any problems with the tires (20's). I even drove the truck through a nasty snow storm and had zero issues with traction. I'll be keeping these baby's through their normal life cycle. Anyway, that's just my $0.02...

It all depends on how you drive your truck. There are better tires out there then the HP's, but for your driving style the HP's might be just fine. For me, they don't work well when trying to pull the boat up the ramp. When the HP's are wet with that much weight behind the truck they spin all day (or the traction control cuts power more than it allows power).
