Or you could be an **** like myself and make your wife hop on in.... I'm personally not a fan of running boards but I'm sure the wife will make me get them when she's pregnant... unless I can get away with just getting them for her vehicle.

Sobo,

I do the same thing letting my 5'2" wife hop in. I noticed that she is scratching my paint with her shoes she wears getting in though!

Running boards are in my future real soon.

I'm not a fan of running boards /nerf bars either so I ordered the AMP Research powersteps. I had them on my last truck. They fold out when you open the door and tuck away when you close the door. Best of both worlds. You can also make them stay "open" when parked and they act as a door ding protector.

I get the powersteps, bedrug, and snuglid installed tomorrow. I'll post up some pics after.

Now those I could definitely live with. Seen those (or something similar) on the Avalanche. How much did that set you back?

I paid about $1500 on my '04 F150. This time I was quoted $1600-1800. I ended up buying a Snuglid SL with headliner, keyless entry, and interior light; BedRug, and the powersteps as a package. In the end I'm paying $1,240 for the powersteps but they now have a (short term) $200 rebate. So $1,040 installed.
