I had no complaints about the rims on my laramie '07 or my rims on my current truck.

Dodge shoulda chromed the silver 20's. They've got a real clean/classic style. No way would I run "plastichromes".

To each his own, right? I don't like the style of the silver 20's personally and that's why Dodge gives us choices....

They should offer a few more factory options...Mopar has a nice selection of 20's. Ya want a Laramie with 20's...ya get one choice only!

This is true, but there's only one option for each model. You can always purchase the forged models, but they cost quite a bit more....

I find that comment funny coming from a guy that has completely rebadged his truck to make it look better than it is. You're appaled by chrome clad wheels but you have no problem saying you have a "Daytona R/T"? Your logic is flawed my friend.

Yep, IMO 20" "plastichromes" are flawed logic! Hey "G" if ya convince yourself ya like 'em that's cool...but at least glance at a "real" chrome wheel before ya decide. Like askin'...what would you rather drive, your R/T or SRT8?

Granted, plastic wheel covers are a no-no for a truck stickered over $40,000, but they do look good and I've had many compliments. Most people don't know that they're plastic covers. It's too bad Dodge doesn't put a real chromed aluminum wheel like these on the Sports or Laramies.

The wheels are fake, and pretty good fakes at that. When I bought my truck I thought Dodge had finally came out with a nice styled chrome wheel for their top of the line truck. First time I washed the truck and actually reached down and touched the wheel, ... PLASTIC! I couldn't believe how cheap that was. I feel like I got duped! Dodge tricked me on this one. What can you do with a plastic wheel, besides nothing? One drive through sagebrush or oakbrush, or one tiny little scuff against a rock and these soft plastic wheels are going to be destroyed. You cant re-polish them, you can't re-chrome them, they are disposable wheels intended to get the vehicle off the dealers lot, and nothing more.

My $40 K Challenger comes with Alcoa forged aluminum wheels. Why doesn't my $48 K Ram pickup come with a quality set of wheels, instead of cheap plastic fakes?

You can always replace the cover on the wheel. It's not that expensive at all. Much cheaper than a new wheel or even fixing a real chrome wheel. How do I know? I had to have one replaced on my '07. Under $100 from an expensive body shop and it looked good as new.
