i have no problem with my horn. i did notice that there are 2 horns on my truck. i also noticed that the honk that it does when you lock the door is not as loud as when you actually honk the horn. maybe one is a softer sound like when you tap the horn and one is loud for when you lay on it.

I think the horn sucks, on my truck you really have to press it to get it to work. I think dodge should have placed the horn more towards the outside of the wheel for easier access.

Default Horn suggestion

I had a Wolo and loved it. Simple two wire install, and even without looking im sure the Ram has the same type. Pull the connector plug, cut the end (Allowing room if you ever want to splice that connector back on) and mount the horn. Ensure you aim the front of the horn out, and use butt connectors and put a little liquid electricial tape on them

Forgot to add, you will need two blue )18-16 gauge) spade connectors <Radio shack> to connect to the horn... IT may even come with them

I think I need something deeper sounding (not necessarily louder). That seems like a motorcycle horn, considering everyone reviewing it has installed it on a motorcycle.
