Prior to the 09 F150, Fords were cheaper. The current 09 F150s are considerably higher in price than the 09 Ram. The 09 King Ranch and Platinum models are $45k and UP. If you want a $50K half ton GAS truck, Ford has some for you. I don't know how much off you can get, but the MSRPs are closing in on $55K.

 

Well, when Chrysler had employee pricing in 2005, Dodges were cheaper then. They were cheaper again in 2007 when they were taking $10 - 14k off. Seems like everytime I've bought a truck, Dodges were thousands less.

 

Brand has never been a question to me. I have owned all Dodge and Plymouth cars and trucks except for one.

 

I reevaluate all available options with every purchase. I have owned Ford, GM, Mazda, Chrysler, and Infiniti.

That post was awhile ago, now i've seen about 8 on island, 4 of them on base. Mine, yours, a red laramie parked in the same lot as you, and a black laramie on hangar row..

 

Saw my first '09 in Lubbock today on my way to work.

Red Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 without the two-tone. It must have been pretty new cause he still didn't have license plates. He passed me up and I saw the exhaust...then immediately looked up for that 2foot x 2foot ram symbol =).

Now that I own a dodge, I can't help but seeing Dodges EVERYWHERE. I honestly think i see more dodges around here than i see chevy and ford, though Chevy is pretty popular right now.

 

I'm seeing more and more as each day goes by. I now see at least 3 - 4 a day.
