You don't have to baby it, drive it in autostick, kinda helps, you could always put a shift kit in no? Is there one for this tranny by now there must be. I thought the R45FE (hope I got all the numbers and letters right) was a dependable trans. It is used in all the Dakotas, Durangos, Rams....not sure what else. You would think the RAM would borrow some Jeep technology and become Trail Rated might help sales. Sales are good in Canada, hard to find one on the lot they say but in the US sales are down. Seems people are fickle. Lets see how they react to the Toyota deal, even the perfect Toyota can have a problem, worse part is they had to go there and basically rub their nose in it. So what is the definition of quality....well the 09 Ram won the the Strategic Vision Quality award so that has to say something for Dodge. 10 HD trucks are winning awards. Sorry to get off topic but well it was to prove a point. I think Dodge did a great job since 09, although everyone has their bitches about it funny they still bought one.
