Man... y'all are much more patient than I. I just found one that I wanted online and drove to that dealer. Thankfully there are lots of Dodge dealers in my area, most with 100 - 200 trucks on hand.

 

Took about 4 weeks for me to get mine. I am pretty picky, and had some pretty specific wants. Good luck with the wait.

 

Ordered sport, 4x4, 32 gal, sunroof, rambox, camera, mygig, remote start and security on 1/26/09 and still waiting................on 3/11 dealer told me 7-10 days and its basically day 14 and on top of it dealer has not called me/returned calls to update me! Talk about terrible customer service and getting EXTREMELY irritated !!

 

No waiting here, found my truck in Birmingham, AL. Flew down from NC to pick up my truck and had a great road trip home. You won't be disappointed when you finally get it. These trucks are simply awesome. I agree with skidooinit a support group is needed for those waiting. Post the pictures of your trucks after you get them.

 

Ordered 2/10 picked up 3/16 = 5 weeks.

I live 100 miles from truck plant in Michigan.

 

Hey, at least you're still not waiting for the new Heavy-Duties. I'm waiting for about 6 mos. before I can even think of ordering. Just saw a new 1500 in inferno red at my kids' school today....sweet!

 

wow dealers with over 100 trucks in stock the dealers around me only have 10-20 in stock and all with the 3.55 rears thats why i had to order mine wanted the 3.92s austin tan 4x4 slt crew with the rambox,hemi,3.92lsd,prem buckets,technology group,bighorn pkg,remote start/security,32gal tank,protection group.

 

I called my dealer in Auburn, Maine to get an update on by build. He told me that part of the chrome group was back ordered and it would be at least 40 extra days before any progress. WTH. I asked him to delete the chrome and get building. Still gonna have to wait another 4 weeks.

Heads Up - if your order has the chrome group (tube steps, gas filler door, side moldings, or exhaust tips) you may want to find out if your project is delayed. You may have the option to delete that option.

 

Your dealer is FOS!

 

I ordered mine on 3/9 and was told by the dealer it would take 6-8 weeks to get it in, but since it is a replacement for the truck Chrysler is taking back, it might not take that long. The company handling the process said they put a "hot ticket" on the order to speed up the build...we'll see. On 3/23 the dealer said it has a VIN and it is in D status.
