Anybody put a gun rack in an 09 yet? now that I have this giant solid rear window, I'd like to get a good, solid gun rack for it. I have my old one out of my f150, but due to its small rear window, I could only use a suction cup one which worked fine, but I'd like something more 'roomy' and soundly built. Any suggestions?

 

actually, I need to remember that I have an extended cab now. Perhaps a behind the front seat holder would be a better option for me now? Any experience with these?

 

There are some universal type racks that have "forks" that slide up between the window gasket and the glass. I have used them on a few of my trucks, they remove easy too. Any sporting goods store should have some. Hope that helps.

 

I use the back of the seat one, all of $17 at Sportsman's guide, holds three. For about $10 more they have it with the solid fabric all the way across...

 

Has anyone mounted one to the ceiling? I like that idea but haven't seen it in person....

 

Wow I really like that behind the seat deal. I've never seen one of those before but now that I have I want one. One complaint I've heard about some of the in the window ones is that people have said they have worn the bluing off the guns where the barrel sits in there. That behind the seat deal seems like it would avoid all of that and looks good too.
