It depends what state you are in , the back windows come from factory tinted glass.
They made the front as close as possible. The police around here [DFW] have a light meter, the slide it on your window and if it passes ok, if not TICKET.
Take the tint off in so many days, revisit the court.

Anyways, the rears are just slightly darker than allowed in TX. Last time I got the darkest allowed in TX (35% I think?) so that I could pass inspection. In the rear it's either 15 - 20% as already mentioned.

thanks, i am going to 4wheel parts this weekend to order me a stage2 procomp, 18 or 20" rims, and 37" tires.... Already priced it with them but need to go over some more details. I'm heading over to the dealership before to go over the lifetime powertrain warranty to see if this voids the warranty. I'm hoping to record the conversation so it can't be dismissed later on..

OK, so today I got my truck tinted. I got 10% all the way around. 6 inch 5% across the top of the windshield covered by 40% over the entire windshield. Also I got the emblem on the center of the windshield in chrome. It looks HOT!!!! I wil post pics Very soon.
