It's a new truck, it's not like you guys are installing headers or superchargers on this thing already, they're not out yet for this truck. Are they?
What, you mean, you didn't know about all of the stuff for our trucks??? J/K

Well, all that changed on the GM trucks after 2007 model change. The headlighs are no longer removable. The only one you can get at is on the passenger's side, but you have to remove the air cleaner box. On the driver's side the hold-down plate for the aux. battery needs to be removed, the wiper washer bottle has to be loosend from behind the fender liner. It's a real b!tch to do.

Installing HID headlights. I needed to removed the headlight housing. I was able to remove the grill without any troubles. However, I did break the headlight retaining clip. This is the clip you have access through the wheel well. Now I need to find a new clip. One dealer said it's not a Mopar part and to go to Ace Hardware. Another dealer ordered and should be here next Tuesday.

I want to scream. All during the install I was always checking the lights to make sure everything work. I put HID's in my lows and fogs. Everything worked, the fogs, the lows and the highs with the lows. Put everything back together and went to take the truck for a spin. When I started the truck the lows went out. The fogs still work but the lows won't come on when truck is running. Turn the truck off and you can get the lows to come on.

Back to the other off topic issue, I was thinking about putting some non-skip tape on the front so I can step up to the engine. I may lay some on there without sticking it on just to see how it looks.
