CD Player Noise?

Whenever I have a CD in, but the radio set to satellite or FM, I can still hear the CD spinning when the volume is down low. It is really annoying. I don't know why the CD needs to spin if it is not being played.

Does anybody else notice this?

Nope, haven't noticed it. I always have a CD in. Definitely can't hear it.
