I've got a Jet-Sled that I use while ice-fishing, but keep it in the bed of the truck on one side and it's like having a giant drawer in the back. Doesn't guarantee things won't spill but lets me load stuff in and have access to them without crawling into the back (under the cover).

Bed divider, bed extender or back seat all work. I typically use the back seat.

you don't have the divider that looks in on the sides, OOPPPS thats only on the RAM BOX that you can lock in and store the divider at differant locations... lol

There are 2 slots - 1 on each side just behind the wheel wells (the tailgate side) in the bed. Just cut a 2x8 to length and notch the lower corners to allow for the raidius roll of the bed floor to the sides and just drop it in the slots. Viola! (pronounced waa-la), now you have a divider to keep your smaller goodies from rolling around your truck bed and you only spent $8.00 on the 2x8 and it's easliy removable. No holes to drill or confusing directions.

Just send in $20 for detailed instructions - Operators are standing by. LOL

Thats just one. Surf around for price.

I have used one of these for 12 years. Adds 2' when folded out.
How would that work if I wanted to load a motorcycle? Does it easily come off?

Hey,

The bed extender pivot point is made in a way that locks it down when forward or when on the tail gate.

To remove it. Rotate the bed extender until its sitting up....1/2 way. Not sitting on the bed or gate. You lift it right off.
Slides in and out when in that positon.
The pivot point is enginnered just for that. Its a slot that is open at the top..really a "V" shaped opening. Will only come off the pivot in that position. Down either way locks it in.
Taking it off takes about 15 seconds.

It comes with instructions better than this.

Yes, taking it off is a snap...so is reinstalling it. Its light...aluminum tubes.

Cheers
Blue

Anyone have a good price on the bed extender or favorite aftermarket brand?

Default extender

My truck came with a bed divider that can also be used as an extender. Is that not a standard accesory that was delivered with your truck?

Must have been the accessories that the dealer added. Probably would have been the Pickup Box Utility Rails (82211056, 82211057 or 82211058, depending on the bed size) and the Bed Divider (82211493). I am pretty sure that it is not standard equipment even on the Laramie.
