If Chrysler doesn't file bankruptcy, nothing changes and you aren't affected. This is only if they file Chapter 7 or 11 b/c then nobody is sure what will happen.

I didn't know the Japanese government owned Toyota, let alone the part suppliers, the bank accounts of the thousands of employees that work for Toyota.

As much as I hate Toyota for that pu$$y truck they put out, your statement is ridiculous. Hate on the Tundra for being a piece of raw dog crap. Own on that crap, bag it, hate it, roll it. But stay on target, maintain the course.

Pound it b!tches!!!

So did you refuse to own a dodge when it was owned by Mercedes Benz (Daimler Benz)?

You should really do your homework before making these blanket assumptions. Stick to that line of thinking and the only vehicle that will fit your criteria will be a Schwinn

That was intense.... You're at level 11 right now and everyone else is hovering around level 2-5. You should tone it down a bit, we have some toyota owners on here and i'm sure they wouldn't appreciate your comments. They don't talk about our trucks like that, it's mutual respect...

-last i checked the tundra outperforms ours in a couple different ways

I agree, chances are our trucks contain as much American products as the Toyota, Ford, Chevy, whatever does, the only difference is where the companies originated from. Sure you can still say i buy American, but blanket statements are ignorant

Our Hemis are built in Mexico. I think only 25% of the parts are from the US.

Just focusing on that one thing, in exactly what area do toyotas outperform '09 dodges? I'm not being sarcastic, I really don't know. Do they still out-accelerate ours? Is there even enough information about the performance of the different cabs, bed lengths, and 2wd vs 4wd combinations to make a statement?

The way i read it is they are just giving people looking to buy right now piece of mind. The older warranties will be covered by the auto maker. It just a typical government hand job to make the consumer feel better until the auto industry is back on it's feet..It aint going anywhere...
