20% tint is a close match but can impair night visibility when compared to actual factory tinted glass. Installer highly recommends 35% which he uses on his own vehicles.

Stock is 20% factory tinted windshield that gives you a blueish/grayish style tint to the window. I used LLumar tint, better than 3M by far and has a grade that gives a very similar shade as stock 95% match. As the factory window tint is something you will NEVER get 100% match, doesn't matter what brand you get, i found this the best match.
I really should post pics of my truck, damn I'm a frekin slacker...
Yup that's the hard part matching the color of the tint by just doiong the front windows. What my truck came with (% wise I have no idea) but tinted all the windows, all sides and back. At first I thought the price was rediculous for two windows, but a closer look. . . The color is almost a perfect match.
I put 15% on both front windows as that was the closest match to the factory back. They are dark. I cannot see using 35%. That would be like night and day vs the factory tint.
I got my truck tinted. I got 10% all the way around. 6 inch 5% across the top of the windshield covered by 40% over the entire windshield. Also I got the emblem on the center of the windshield in chrome. It looks HOT!!!!
I traded in my Ford 500 for my new Ram and had 5% on the car, but this time on my Ram I went with 20% all the way around, on top of the factory color. I think it looks great.
