Default Custom Fabricated Accessories

I'm in contact with the guy running this auction below. He's right here in Charlotte (where I'm at). My question is, I understand how powdercoating works, but would the paint suffice or is it worth the extra 30% cost to powdercoat?

Default okay

Okay

So the fine print says not the ones pictured here. You going on what the buyer is saying her will fab.

Second, what is your purpose? I say this cause when i wheeled my trailblazer,,, yeah i know, i had a trailblazer with custom fabbed rocksliders, bumper, lift, ill stop there, i always would ask that question. If your goal is to try and wheel a Ram with a bad approach angle and long wheelbase, this would be your item. If your going for the looks, i would think about something different. I wouldnt want you to pirder this, and get pretty much fabbed steel, and say WTF. If your goal is to wheel it, i wouldnt even get it powder coated, buy form POR15 and call it a day...

long story short, if you want the looks, i would keep looking for a product that is easier on the eyes

hope this helped.

I do powder coating. I will tell you it depends on who powder coats and if they etch the metal. Simpilly put , etching is like chemically sanding the metal or making the metal open its pores. You can still powder coat it but it may not last as long. Also if they don't coat it thick enough it will look rough after a few..Lastly you have different quality of powders. Look at the import stuff pre coated verses after market stuff..
Paint would depend on what kind and or if they cure it. I vote powder coating if done right...For a demo I show a piece I coated beat it against tsomething and show how it stays on the peice.
Not telling you what to do, just answering your question on powder coating.
