That damn air sensor. Seems everyone is having issues with it.

I hope they have this fixed in the trucks that were built later in the 09 model year.

Do you know what the date that your truck was assembled on?

Can someone with an '09 try the key trick? Even if you don't have any codes it should come up and say "done" in the odometer. I'd try it but, my '09 is in D1 status.

Are OBDII codes standardized across all brands? Can someone point me to the codes for the Ram if they arent?

I want to know the reported problem before going to the dealer.
DTC's P0000 thru P0999 are standard across the board, but some may not apply to certain vehicles. P1000 and up may or may not be the same, dont remember. then theres U---- and B---- codes...

the key on/off 3 times works on some vehicles (must be OBDII). one of these days, ill purposely set my MIL, and see if the key thing works.

when you guys do the key trick, what exactly happens? it reads out the code somewhere? ive not done it on an OBDII vehicle, but ive done OBDI, and it just made the CEL flash..

if a vehicle is capable of displays codes w/ the key trick, itll most likely do it where the odometer is.

The key trick, on/off 3 times, does not work. There may be a different procedure for it.
