Quote: If your not going to be towing much at all like once a year. To gain more in your pocket just go straight with the 3.21 gearing. If you will be towing, 3.55 will then be your next option. They all are pretty well close in mileage, but 3.21 gearing would be the best for sure.
Yeah, i may. i will get a 4x2 for sure.

Quote: In Texas, some of those underpasses can get pretty deep in the rainy season. As gas cost is no concern, I'd go with a Ram 4x4. Especially if you have to drive any dirt FM's.
Im sorry buddie but your not going to get any farther in water in a 4x4 then a 2x4.

That has to be the funniest statement I have heard all day.

Guy on the other dodge forum was getting 20+ mpg on the highway with 3.21's

I also have 3.21's I get any where between 14.5-16.2mpg in town depending on how my foot feels, but once you hit the highway I love it. Just watch that bad boy climb and your gas till empty number climb lol Running at 65mph a little under 1500rpm I would guess about 1450rpm it has to be the sweetest thing ever. I love the truck. Makes those long trips nice!

With a bed cover you have a 5'7" trunk. I am on job sites alot and always need a truck . On my 06 chevy I had 140,000 on it with the orginal brakes, lots of highway miles. The 1st 3 yrs / 35,000 you have a lot of coverage, 24 hrs tow and so on.
GO FOR IT... I have the 20" and 3.21's... But I have not pulled my pontoon yet.. Will see... So far I like the ESP on the truck
