bucket seats in Ram sport only?
when i bought the stratus, i first went to a mitsubishi dealership...i looked at and drove an eclipse convertible in the same color as my stratus. it was june, and the salesman wouldnt let me put the top down, or turn the radio on...i was 22 or 23 at the time, and had a few grand in cash in my pocket. my goal was to buy a car that day.
while out on the test drive, he got a phone call and when he hung up he said "turn around and go back to the dealership...i have a real customer waiting..not some kid looking to joyride in a new car". i bought the stratus about an hour later, and the next day, i brought it back to the mitsubishi dealership and showed their new car mgr, and explained to him that his salesman intentionally ran off what should have been an easy sale.
another one..a while back, a friend of mine called. she was looking at used jeeps, and the salesman was going on about how powerful the hemi was in the 2002 grand cherokee that she was considering. i told her to leave, because they didnt offer a hemi jeep in 2002.

Seriously.... most salesmen are ridiculous. You'd think that it would behoove them to at least learn about the new cars they sell... but they typically know next to nothing about them. I corrected quite a few Dodge salesmen and showed them things they didn't know about (like the windows rolling down from the key fob).
By the time I was ready to buy mine I told the sales guy to not even attempt to sell me on the truck or tell me about it, but to get the manager or whoever was going to be in charge of finalizing a deal so that we could get this done as fast as possible. The other poor sales guys who I test drove with I all also basically told them to shut up and just sit there while I drove.

When I worked for dealerships I was always shocked at how little they knew and they wondered why they couldn't sell anything. If I know more just from doing a few reviews then they are relying too heavily on the brochures and computers.
When my Grandad bought our two 1997 rams, (one 1500 and a 3500), he was intent on buying a Ford. At the time, he worked for the railroad, and on his way home he stopped in at a ford dealership. He looked around for awhile, kinda wondering where the salesman was at. He finally walked into the dealership, and asked to talk to a delaer. After about 15 minutes of talking to the guy he got pissed. At the time, he was in his 50's, wearing dirty grease covered overalls, and he didnt look his best. The salesman that he was talking to wouldnt deal with him, or even talk figures. My Grandad finally just looked at him and said son, I came in here with the intention to buuy two brand new trucks right now. You see that old ford sitting out there that I drove in here? well, I have the cash to buy both trucks right now! since you dont want to deal with me, Ill go down the road.
He got in his truck and drove down the road to the Dodge dealer, and in 20 minutes he walked out owing a 1997 ram 1500 Laramie (Mine) and a 1997 Ram 3500 5.9 CTD.
I have been to the delars around here and they act the same way around me, I guess a lot of them dont realize that some people walk right on a lot ready to buy a new vehicle out right.
