Gas level indicator gauge.....top heavy?

Hey guys, is it just me or does it seem to drop like a stone after the half tank mark...

Mine goes a little quicker as it gets lower. All of my cars and trucks have done this though.

all vehicels do that.

they are full when filled to the top but when they go down to the 1/2 tank mark they dont have 1/2 a tank, you have to take into account the reserve part.
