Has anyone had there tailgate molding replaced. The reason I ask is the original molding is formed differently and the replacement is a different design and texture. This wouldn't be a problem but I have a LEER XQ cap and the replacement molding doesn't look like if fits with the rear of the cap.

Dodge don't have a part number for the moulding on my ram only the new part number.

Any help would be great.

I had my tailgate moulding/spoiler replaced and it was the same shape and texture as the original one on the truck. The truck was an early build and the part number listed was 55372052AE.

 

Mine was replaced also. Looks exactly the same as the old one. It just doesn't pop off while going down the highway now.

 

where did you get the replacement at?
