Default Pics of the new truck with ram box

I took a few pictures to send to my brother so thought I'd go ahead and post a couple of them. I know a lot of you don't like the way the ram box looks, neither does my wife, but I really like this option now that I have it. Very convenient to just pop open the lid and grab my gloves, or the hitch bar, etc. My boys and my shotguns in soft cases also fit right across the top as well so no more carrying them in the bed or back seat. Jeff.

Very Nice! Are those cloth seats? Does not look like the leather seats I have but also does not look like a typical cloth seat with the stitching on the sides?

Yes, it's the cloth. I had to make some sacrafices since I was trading in an 09 for an 09 and was loosing money on it. I basically traded the leather and sun roof for the ram box and back up camera. This was the first truck I've had leather in and I like it just fine, especially the heated and cooled seats but I guess I'm just a cloth guy at heart because I actually find these seats to be more comfortable. I guess without all the stuff underneath and not having to perforate it for air flow, these seats just seem to have more padding. According to the brochure the sport model gets the premium cloth seats and they are really nice, the trim actually feels as soft as the leather I had before and the cloth is very tightly woven. I figure I will do like I did on my 99 QC and in 7 or 8 years when these are worn out, I will replace them with Katzkin leather. Jeff.

Looks great! But then again, I would say that since I have them also LOL They are very practical and I use them all the time! Golfclubs, tools, work clothing or shoes....anything that I dont want in the back of my truck

I love my rambox as well, yeah i know we could've gotten a toolbox for much cheaper, but i just thought it was too nice of an option to not pick up. Grats on the truck.

I checked one out after I bought my Ram. I don't like the look or price, but I love the functionality.

CajunRam, I thought it was nice enough that over the next 6 years I will have spent about $6,000 dollars for them!! That's how much I'm going to loose on trading in an 09 for an 09 over the life of the loan. I have a tuffy side tool box in my 99QC that basically does the same thing but as I've learned over the years it is not dust proof, and it is not car wash proof. No to mention the 4 times I've had to re-install the box since the bed flexing shears the mounting bolts of the tool box. I can not use a tool box that goes from side to side because we haul my wifes 4 wheeler in the bed and even a skinny tool box took up to much room. Jeff.

well the way i looked at it, was i actually kinda like the look, love the functionality, and for me it was $1800 vs complaining for the next 5-10 years about how i wish i would've gotten them...so for me the value judgment was that it was a better all around situation to just get them and enjoy them, then have a vehicle that i just wish i'd have gotten that last little thing done...

The cloth seats or should I say "Premium Cloth Seats" look very nice! They look so nice, that's what prompted my question in the first place.

I chose the DVD/Backseat TV system for the kids and cut out the sunroof as my sacrifice.

after seeing these cloth seats and looking at all the issues with the leather AC seats, I would chose these for sure instead of the leather "upgrade" and use that $ for the rambox!
