Between San Antonio and Austin there were at least 8 dealers with over 100 Rams each (some had over 200). This was early March. haven't checked inventory since, but some were offering up to $15k off a fully loaded model.

And I agree, now is the time to buy a Ram if you want to buy one in the next few years. I got $12K off MSRP on mine, one month ago.

Make sure your Dodge dealership survived Dodge's dealership cuts today. Our dealership has been selling Dodge vehicles for 75 year, and they were just closed down today by Dodge. They didn't make the cut, and neither did any of the Dodge dealerships between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. For me to have any sort of warranty work done at this point it is now a 250 mile drive to the nearest Dodge dealership.

Is there anywhere where we can look up a list of closed dealerships? There are a lot in the area and I don't want to have to call them all, but I'm curious as to who has been shut down.

And I feel you... I had a Yamaha dealer 10 miles away and they had their boat license revoked and now I have 100 miles. It sucks!

I found the answer to my own question. here's the full list:

http://assets.bizjournals.com/cms_me...er_closing.pdf

The Central Texas dealers being closed are:

Chuck Nash Jeep Eagle, 1035 N State Highway 123, San Marcos
Allen Samuels Dodge Chrystler Jeep, 1625 N Valley Mills Dr., Waco
Immel Motors, 1279 S. US Highway 87, Fredericksburg
Jeff Hunter Chrysler, 1440 W. Loop 340, Waco
Kirk Jackson Motor Co. 1130 S. Colo. St., Lockhart
Waco Dodge 1220 N Valley Mills Dr., Waco

Luckily none of those are in Austin, so it has no effect on me. Poor Waco.
