Question Will it fit???

Hi,
I have a 1999 Dodge Ram, with a 5.2 engine, 5speed 4x4. Since the engine is about wore out, I am wondering which way to go. I have access to a 413 Dodge engine with 32,000 miles on it. My question is, will the 413 bold to my present trans and bell housing?? Can any one tell me what alterations I will have to make to make it work. I am aware of the electrical problems and the exhaust. I need to know about mounts, and trans.
Thanks to all for your help

Steve

You are in the wrong section.

But to answer your question, I have a question. Why a 413? What is it out of?

It will not bolt to your 5 speed since it is a big block and they have a different transmission bolt pattern than a small block. I would find a built small block to put in there as it is going to be much cheaper and much less of a headache.

I'm confused, did I buy a brand new 1999 Ram?
