I have a 2wd 09 ram 1500 and I want it to sit level and give me crap if u want but I don't want to lower the back. I want to lift the front. I found the rough country 4wd leveling kit 2.5 front lift and .75 rear which I know will still give me a slightly offset stance. So bottom line is 4wd and 2wd suspension the same on these trucks?

 

No, the leveling kit for the 4WD's will not fit the 2WD's. I know Hell Bent Steel makes an awesome 4X4 kit, but i don't know who makes one for the 2WD's. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I think he wants to take the front up and not the back down... Nothing wrong with leveling a 2WD. I did mine way back before I had a TRX4. It was a 2003 and the spacer sat on top of the spring, so the kit your looking for may be similar. I got the rough country kit and on Ebay I could of sworn it said 2wd or 4wd.

As far as I know there are four different leveling kits for 4x4 Rams.

Rough Country 2.5"/0.75"
ebay 2" or 2.5" front lift
Daystar 2.5"/1"
Readylift 2.5"/1.5"

I don't know if any of them will fit a 2wd

 

Hey guys thanks for the input. I went down to dodge and looked at 2wd and 4wd and the front struts r different. The back suspension looks exactly the same though.
