My biggest pet peeve is that there is not a rear locking differential, exspecially on the trx4. The off road badge should mean something more than a skid plate on the tranfer case. Maybe a 3" lift with more agressive tires.

They do get the Heated Seats and Steering wheel on the Laramie either way, but the cooling effect of the seats when you get in and have gotten hot on the backside from being outside is really nice.
Me too, I will get contented having the Heated Seats and Steering Wheel.

Been reading post and threads all night until I found this one.

I can't believe I am the only one to think that the door stays are pure crap. If my truck is parked on even the slightest incline, my doors will slam shut. Not cool while trying to get stuff out of the truck with your hands full and the door nails you in the back.

I also think that by now they could have come with cup holders that heat and cool your drinks. Nothing like drinking a warm drink on a hot day.

Key fobs suck hugely.

The tires that come on the truck are the worst I have ever ridden on. The slightest water on my flat driveway will induce wheel spin. Makes me nervous when I am in the truck in the rain. Can't wait for snow. maybe get some 17" rims and Blizzaks....

And maybe just me but how many times has anyone lifted up the wrong latch on the center console to have everything in the top compartment spill out because you lifted the wrong latch, or both latches?....DOH!
And the top compartment of the center console is plain too shallow for anything usefull. I liked my 2006 console better.

That said I love my Fiat!

Ramulak, I believe the top portion of the center console is meant to be used for cell phones and such, hence the power point in there.

finc.jb: I believe you are correct about the upper center console storage, but I'd rather the power point have been in the larger bottom compartment so there could be more room for charging larger electronics "under cover". I'd settle for a useful cut-out notch, so the cord can be draped out from that power point (like the bottom compartment does). Overall, I've started to use little self-adhesive velcro tabs to make some "organizer points" in the cavernous lower container.

ramulak: Drink heater / Drink Cooler - we got those... (You just have to think bigger, and twist up that dial labelled "A/C - Heater" and aim the center console vents at the appropriate cupholder.)

The fold flat floor can be added. See my DIY https://dodgeforum.com/forum/diy-do-...ionetwork.html

Damn. Forgot the little notch for the power cord coming out of the top section of the console.

I have the Deep water blue paint and I notice that the dirt and water spray marks show up a lot more on that color than my Silver 2500 did. I am thinking front splash gaurds are also needed. But that is an after thought to my post. Not really a peeve.

+1
Very hard to keep this color clean but it looks great when it is.

That's always the way with dark coloured vehicles. I had a black Saab that looked great in the shade (thanks Gino Vanelli ) when clean, but showed every little water spot or dust, etc. There is always a trade-off in my opinion. Dark trucks look better, but more work to keep them that way. Scratches show up much easier too.
