Switchblade906, no offense taken. I know the shakers aren't for everyone. You say it looks like a big fat nose and I say all the better to breath with! My only disappointment with this hood is the motor mounts are so good the only time I've seen the shake is running down the 12 mile rutted up dirt road into our ranch. Because of the cost of the truck most accessories for me will have to wait awhile anyway but if they come out with a shaker for the 09's I will probably end up with one eventually. Mopowar is correct though and this is a bad picture so here is a different angle.

It really doesn't stick that far out of the hood but it did wake up that old 360 engine. Especially after I put the fastman 52mm throtle body on. I gave this truck to my son when he graduated school and I have to say off the line that 99 would give my 09 a fight. It just doesn't have the power to stay up with the 09 down the track though. The camera that these pictures were taken with has a wide angle lense built in and it does tend to stretch things out up close. Jeff.

wow they MSRP a plastic painted stick on scoop for 420! there is no way i would pay that, could almost have a real hood for that much lol.
