Default Question about Nav / Radio system

OK - so this has been driving me nuts for about a week and I can't see anything in the manuals about it.

I have the UConnect system with the upgraded Alpine sound system and Nav.

Is there no MUTE button or PAUSE button anywhere on the system? I can't find anything re muting the sound or pausing playback of MP3's.

That's a great idea = kind of like how the Soviets figured out the problem of how to get an ink pen to write in zero gravity - by using pencil!

But it does take a little extra time for the system to re-start, etc.

BTW - anyway to turn off the initial splash screen with the warnings that says "ACCEPT"?

I know some of the "lockpick/navtv" type items on some cars do kill that warning screen, not sure about on the Ram though. I doubt there is any other way to do it since the legal team at car manufacturer's feel it's necessary to avoid being sued by an idiot.

Mine goes away by itself... I don't have to touch the screen to acknowledge it. I don't know if that is because of the ALLGIGUSB because I ordered that before my truck even came in so the first day I had the truck I installed it!
