Hello,

I had my stock muffler replaced with a 14" Magnaflow on my 4.7L single exhaust truck. I am getting ready to make it into a "hidden" dumped setup in the rear and am wondering if I should cut before or after the resonator. I would not mind if it was a little bit louder, but not too much. Is it going to make a big difference, its pretty small? Thanks in advance.

 

not sure about your truck but my resonator was towards the end of the exhaust so you would have to dump before the resonator. Why dump it if you dont want loud?

 

Put a downtip on the muffler...toss the rest.
