Owner's First Impressions
Ok, Picked up my 09 CC with every option yesterday.
Got my first 100 miles by now. It's hard to describe this truck, but I have very positive feeling so far. I've owned many fancy cars/SUVs and let me tell you, this truck is as good as my 06 Land Rover LR3, which (besides braking down) was one of the best, most comfortable vehicles I've ever owned.
This truck is smooth, powerful, very powerful (even though I did not floor it as I'm taking it easy for the first few thousand miles)
Interior and comfort features are second to none.
Interesting point, I drove home just 10 minutes ago and as I back up on my parking two guys on a pick up truck come running to me and jump off their truck, for a second I thought I'd have to fight them off. They came to look at my truck. One of the two guys had Ford King Ranch and found my truck more attractive. So, basically a lot of attention.
I can describe it as "cool but grown up" It is not your punk mobile.
First impression is very positive.
To be continued...

Whats really fun is driving behind other trucks (including new F-150) on bumpy roads and watching their tail end bounce around. Then you going over the same bumps your tires stay on the pavement where they belong not jumping all over the place.

I have the same impression, 6k miles later. Today, I stopped at Gander Mountain and pulled in right behind a guy in a brand new Silverado crew cab. He parked his truck and stood in front of mine then gave me the thumbs up....and said nice truck. I felt like a 16 y/o again, but I thought "you should see it when it's clean"

Gotta love this.
OOOH and the power. Damn...
Customs pulled me over just to look at my truck...well the guy at the booth anyway he closed the gates and said since I woke him up...it was funny his light was onbut it is confusing and I didn't want to wind up in a Nexus or Truck lane and get **** so I went anyway. I said something to him about be lonely he liked it better till I came there. So he says what year truck, what kind? Then he saw the Hemi badge. He said I am gonna do my job and have a look at this truck, everytime he saw something he liked he came to a window and said "nice, dual exhaust built into bumper" "nice storage areas" I showed him them all even those skinny I guess newspaper slots on the center console sides. He thanked me for the tour LOL. I don't even think he asked our nationality....I cant remember.

I dropped my wife off at the store to pick up a few things and I drove out to the vacant area of the parking lot to wait for her. You wouldn't believe the number of people who went out of their way to drive by my RAM!!!
Time to start charging for the show!

I went to auto parts store the other day and was kind-of freaked out. A guy in a ratty old Olds was circling the lot slow and when I came out sped up as I approached the truck. He was just admiring and had some questions. freaked me at first though. Very much a looker truck..
