Default Info on bug deflector

I have a 2009 Crew Cab Laramie Package - Stone White monotone.

I need to get a quality bug deflector - but don't want to put something cheesy on my truck. I'm not sure if I should look at something Chrome, or plastic or what.

Suggestions?

Also - how do these attach? Screws? Sticky tape?

Are the safe in car washes?

thanks for the input in advance!!!

The aftermarket may not have any ready for the 2009 Rams yet.
I have a black Mopar one on my black truck and it fits well and blends in.
The deflector is held on with 4 screws and the holes were already in my hood.
I have only seen one white truck with a white Mopar deflector and it blended in nice almost did not notice it.
The Mopar deflectors are available in some colors as well as chrome or smoke.

Ditto on the Mopar. Put the Inferno Red one on my truck.

Can you guys post some pics of your deflectors, maybe a black truck with black or chrome? I can't decide if I want one yet.

This should give a real good idea of how chrome (Mopar) will look on your truck.

The Mopar is simple to install. 4 screws and 4 screw retainers that mount in exsisting holes in the underside of the hood. 10-15 minutes at the most and it withstands automatic car washes!

I like the idea of the chrome - think it will match the chrome grill and the rest of the chrome on the truck and look good with the white.

Are you saying that there's no holes I have to drill but match holes underneath the hood? If so where do I get this and how much should I expect to pay?
