I recently purchased some 3" oval side bars too. I went with ARIES 3" oval chrome bars that have a nice 45 degree angle at each end. I paid $379.00 installed at my new favorite truck accessory shop. I'm 6'2" 300+ lbs and they handle my weight fine, all though I don't need them, they're really for my wife and kids. I wanted the Mopar side bars but they run $699.00 a pair. I like these units because they fill up the sides from the front tire to rear cab and don't stick out to far.

 

Has Westin came out with side steps for our trucks yet. I've always thought they made a quality product.
