This is the Air Force Monster Truck (not the Afterburner), I had them set this up at a Kroger to try to get some recruits.

As in "join the USAF, we will pay you enough to buy an 09 RAM?"

What's the deal with that other truck in the background? What is it for?

Yes, we will pay you enough to buy an '09 Ram. And, a Harley...and a nice house...and a bunch of other sh*t you don't need!

Not me, done my time, someone else can have a go now

Seriously, what is the other truck for? Surely noone joins the USAF on the basis that they have a ludicrous truck in a Kroger parking lot? Please tell me they don't...

Last USAF recruiting stand I saw had a 1/8 (or so) scale Herc for the really young kids, and some real-world small arms and captured (inert, I hope!) munitions to have a play with.

I actually got a few leads from sitting in the Kroger lot. A lot of parent would stop and say they wanted me to talk to their kids too. The truck is just a way to draw attention.

OK, I believe you, if it works, it works!

"Say, Mr, if I join, can I work on those trucks?"

"No, son, it's just a toy". "But you should see our other toys!"
