Default white grill with stripes-issues-questions

Got my grill yesterday and had a few issues---

1-when removing the chrome bumper--one of the bottom clips snapped off--Is there an easy way to remove those clips without breaking them off?- If I decide to put the chrome bumper back on, will it stay ok missing one of the bottom clips?

2-tried to capture it in the pics, but man the paint match seems off on the grill--just doesnt look quite right

3-my vinyl guy said he would have a really hard time continuing the stripe through the bumper and think he will not be able to do it because of the center section. Going to try a few other places---I got mixed feeling--may just go back to the chrome

Your right, the white doesn't quite match, but I think it does look better than the chrome against that white truck with the stripes.

Are you saying that the grill does not appear to match up in pictures or does the paint seem not to match in person? I have always had paint/body shop guys tell me that paint on plastic is very difficult to match on metal. If your striping guy feels he can't do the job definitely check around I am sure it can be done. One other option is to have a paint shop tape off the grill and paint the stripes on. There again, it may prove difficult to match paint with vinyl. Personally I think either of the two grills look good but somehow someway to finish the look you need those stripes on the grill. Great looking truck anyway.

I'd find a different vinyl guy. It can be done.

I'd go chrome grill and tear off the bumper stripes.

I like it the way you have it with the white grill, I dont think I continue the stripes through it. You probally aint gonna get the plastic grill to match perfectly but I think it looks sharp the way it is, I'd leave well enough alone!

The color does seem off. It is not the plastic. You either have the wrong color or it was a bad paint job. Last time I looked our front bumper covers were plastic and match very well

I say get it to match and finish the stripes!
