Default Grille Question

I have a black sport with the chrome on chrome grille. I would like to get a painted black trx grille to replace the chrome one but keep the chrome inserts.

Does anyone know if the inserts are removable and if so how easy is it to do so.

Thanks!

Easy is a relative term. I did it. I would consider it easy but tedious. The inserts are all one piece. There are maybe 50 clips that need to be gently pried. The main thing is to start on one side and wedge something between the insert and the grill as you go so that it does not fall back into the clips that you have undone (if this happens you will know what I mean by tedious)

I did it. Here is the link. Make sure to substitute the words "dodge talk" for the the stars.

Also painted my ram head badge on the front. Here is how you remove it.
