The STS turbo also mounts down next to the trans right? I don't want a 1000$+ turbo sucking up water and dirt/sand if I go off road.
You are pretty much only limited by your imagination when it comes to were to mount the turbos. On our play car, they are mounted behind the rear axle. And basically, the air supply for them is just like a CAI. Most of the truck applications that I have seen them used on mount the air filters way up in the fender wells.

As far as the warranty, that's the nice thing about STS. If you install it the way they recommend, you can remove all piping, and components in under an hour and you can put the stock exhaust back on. Only the most savvy dealer tech is going to notice the plug in the oil line..... (and let's face it tech people that smart are beocming very few and far between)

I think we need a tuner first to get us past the 105 mph mark on the speedo.

What about NOS, less expensive, easy to install? A 50 to 75 hp shot of NOS would be nice to have when the Hemi needs backup. Oh and did any catch the MAY 09 car and driver magazine article, 09 Silverado vs. 09 F-150 vs 09 Ram? C & D listed the ram top speed at 108 governed. I know everyone is saying 105, but my truck went past 105 by a few MPH and then fell flat on it's face.

It is still too risky for me. I don't want to wrench on the truck to take it in for service.

As for the location, even if it has a long intake that can be mounted up high, I still don't want a hot turbine section to hit cold water and possibly crack.

I got it from Tech Authority, 136$ shipped. It comes on a CD and uses Adobe SVG through Internet Explorer. So far, I am not impressed. I cannot use it through Firefox. It is slow to load every page and you have to go tab by tab to read it.

Here is a screen shot of it.
