Has anyone painted theirs or thinking about it??

I would like to paint mine but i need to know if it is hard to do.....

 

Easy especially if the truck is new you dont have to spend as much time cleaning. they have brush type the lays nice looks like sprayed that way not as much taping etc. needed. You have to pull the wheel and wash them once in a while like maybe rotate your tires sooner than 10k. I am gonna paint mine, took it fo roil spray was dumb of my to do that first. What colour is your truck and what colour you gonna do them?

Its basically clean the hell out of them with brake kleen, then paint away. If you really wannna do a spiffy job pull the caliper and spray it but that is just nuts.

Would like to paint mine red. I have the black metallic exterior. Duplicolour seems to be the easiest and most readily available.

switchblade can you send me a pic of your truck, wanna see your rims. Looks like a sweet truck!

 

I painted them on a car once. Hardest part was cleaning them. Once clean, I used the brush on type. It looked good for the 2 years I had that car.
