I have to agree..
I'm not one to complain alot about a nice new truck. I'm really not now either, but...
I do have to agree with the guys who don't care for these stock tires on these new trucks.
Was out at a guys farm getting a load of dirt with a trailer. Some bumps, some hills, nothing too bad. Leaving with a trailer load, maybe 3/4 ton of dirt or so, she starts to spin going up a fairly grassy hill. Esp kicking in so as to not spin. Not fun, but I did get to use 4WD. Good thing I don't off road like some of you guys, that would suck. My Dak stock tires were good for just about anything. I think these were built more for the road. Oh well.

Goodyear HP - Highway 2-ply "Poppers" - good thing you were on soft grass... Don't venture too far off the asphalt, as good gravel will chip and eventually POP them - let alone anything that should really want 4x4. Look under the bed at the "spare" if you want a true scare - it's a tire only because it is round and coated in rubber...
BFG AT/KO are always good - as are Cooper Discovery ST and Nitto Terra Grapplers... But the Toyo Open Country AT comes closest to 20" stock-size - LT275/65R20 (and a near bulletproof 10-ply too 34x11). Short of Mud Terrain, these will solve your traction blues...

Ya, have seen the spare round Thing. Not too impressed, but understand the reason for the cheapnes of the spare.
I was a little leary of turning around in the pasture with some thick weed stalks popping through the grass. They are a pretty soft tire.

Indiana winters require a 4x4 if you don't want to be stuck at home. My 07 Laramie had the 20" HP's. I had to use 4wd in 4" of snow to get out of my driveway. My 01 Durango R/T had the same junk tires. This was one of the many reasons I went with the TRX4 on my 09. I couldn't justify spending over $1000 to replace tires on a brand new truck.
