Figured it out. It must not have extracted properly the first time. I deleted the file and reextracted and now it works.

Thanks!!

I am really mad that the cd I have is not in .pdf and is in this crappy IE read only version. I was going to go to a copy store and get a hard copy printed.

When I switch to the wiring section (even using the cd), it takes a while to load. Like I said before, I would have much preferred this in pdf format, but this is what came. I did find some freeware that will batch convert svg files to pdf, but some of the files are html and some are svg. That would mean seperately converting all of the files, and then correlating them back in order. I don't think I'll be ****ing with that any time soon. lol

For anyone using IE8, does it seem to work pretty fast? Please try to swap back and forth between service and wiring, and tell me how long it takes.

I have IE 8
Swtching from service to wiring the first time takes 10 seconds or so.
Switching after the first time is instant.

I can read the service manual fine on the web page.
Begs the question. Whats the difference in a 5.7 EZD and 5.7 EDH

Not sure what I can and can't do with the files on my disk.
XML files open all encrypted or something.
I am not a total geek...wish I was.
I see the diagrams fine. No words. Nothing like the web page.

I do not know how to do HTML...yet. Have to pay for web design.

If I understand you mopower, this page is available for a month then its gone.

All I could see doing..I would never do it since its illegal...copy and paste to word thousands of times...or
Buy several packs of paper and ink...print all day or week. Selecting each catagory in blue.
Again, I would never do such a thing.

I must be missing something or I have a bug.

Help

Blue

Feel free to point out what I do not know.

Great info...on the web site..thanks again for that

Working fine for me on IE 8. I just extracted all the files to a new folder on desktop then dragged the shortcut default.htm on to desktop and clicked on make short cut here. Works beautifully.

I would try downloading it again. Tnen. make sure you unzip it to your desktop.

The download page will work for one month (assuming), but, after downloading it, the files are on your computer so the manual will continue to work. Whenever you have htm or html files stored on your computer, they open in your default browser. In other words, you are not accessing the internet when opening this manual. You are accessing files on your machine. Hope this is what you were asking.

I will try to make arrangements to keep this file hosted somewhere after the 30 days are gone. It could be that it will continue to work. It was within my space limitation, but exceeded my maximum upload capability. If someone else can mirror it that would be great.
