Default Rim and Tire time.....now if only I knew they would fit.

I have the littl daystar 2" lift/level kit on my 09 Ram sport crew cab. I'd like to go with 33x12.5 tires on 17" rims with 4.5" of back spacing. I could go with 8" wide or 9" wide. I'd really prefer the 8" wide rims because I would like a little more tire outside of my rims for when I'm offroad at the hunting property or towing my buggy up the offroad park. I can go down to a 33x11 but would like a little wider tire. I just don't want to wind up with rubbing.

Thoughts?

305/70-17 (34.1" x 12.2") Goodyear MT/R Kevlar fits with 8" rims. Cool new design...tough tire w/rim protector.

10 off road
8 dry
7 wet
7 snow
5 quiet

ive seen two 09s with just a leveling in the front and clear 35s with no prob, which should be fine for mild offroading such as going fishing... however if your going prerunning maybe you should get a 6" lift or so..

As others said, they will fit. You can fit 35s if you want.

I don't want to loose much of my towing ability. I'm pushing it as is.
I have two toys with big tires.

Nice looking truck, I just ordered an 09' Quad Cab Sport, would love to add the same levelling kit to mine when it comes in, do you have a part # and did you realign the front end and re-aim the headlights afterwards?
Thx

I got it from Daystar. Don't know the pn though. It's the lift/level kit but I modified my stock isolators so I could use them as well for just a hair more in the rear.

I did realign the truck after. It needed it.
